Terms

Terms and conditions.

These cover using this website, joining the early access list, and the plans listed on the pricing page. When you subscribe you will also be asked to accept the in-app subscription agreement, which sits on top of these terms.

Who you are agreeing with

behindscape.com is operated by FlincByte, registered in India. In these terms "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means anyone using the site.

What this site is

A description of BehindScape, its published prices, and a form to join the early access list. This site itself never takes a payment. Paid subscriptions are bought only through checkout at app.behindscape.com, and only once you have signed in there.

The screens shown on this site are illustrations built from one realistic wedding. They are not a live system and the figures in them are examples.

Joining the early access list

  • Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You are not buying anything and you can leave at any time.
  • A place on the list is not a guarantee of an account. We have said the first fifty companies get in first, and we mean it, but we may decide a particular business is not a fit for the pilot.
  • Give us an address you actually control. Do not sign up on behalf of someone else.
  • We may remove anyone from the list who submits false details or abuses the form.

Plans and prices

BehindScape is sold as one flat monthly rate per plan, never a percentage of your event or a fee per event. The current plans are Starter (₹1,499 a month), Growth (₹4,999 a month) and Scale (₹14,999 a month), with the limits and features shown on the pricing page. Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude GST, which is added where it applies.

  • Billing. Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. A yearly plan costs 16 percent less than twelve monthly payments, as shown on the pricing page.
  • Limits. Each plan has a number of team members, events running at once, storage and emails a month. You can raise some of them with add-ons, or move to a higher plan. Reaching a limit stops you adding more and tells you why; we never quietly charge you for going over.
  • Emails, and SMS by the pack. Each plan includes a number of emails a month, counted from the first of the month in Indian time; unused emails do not carry over, and sign-in and account emails never count. No plan includes SMS: texts are paid for with prepaid SMS packs, which do not expire, one credit for each part of a message.
  • Renewing. Nothing renews by itself and nothing is charged automatically. Each payment is at the price shown when you make it. If we change a price we tell you before it applies, and you can choose not to renew.
  • The estimate is not the invoice. The total on the pricing page is an estimate. The figure shown at checkout is the one that applies.

Messaging

  • You may only send SMS and email through BehindScape to people who have agreed to hear from you, about the event they are part of. No bulk marketing, no purchased lists and no spam.
  • Texts go out from BehindScape's own sender ID, registered on the DLT platform under Indian telecom rules, using templates registered there. Their wording cannot be changed by you or by us without registering it again.

What we have promised, and what we have not

Launch dates, features and the order we build things in may change. We will not pretend otherwise: this is a product being built, and the early access group exists precisely so that what gets built is shaped by them.

Using the site properly

You agree not to:

  • try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
  • submit the form automatically or in bulk;
  • copy the text, design or code of this site to pass off as your own;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

Who owns what

The name BehindScape, the logo, the copy and the design of this site belong to us. What you write into the form stays yours; you give us permission to read it, act on it, and quote it anonymously when deciding what to build. We will not attribute a quote to you or your company without asking first.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and working, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from relying on descriptions of software that has not been released.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Privacy, cookies and refunds

What happens to your data is in the privacy policy. Cookies are in the cookie policy. Cancelling a plan and getting money back is in the refunds and cancellations policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
